Adjustable curing speed, fast deep curing, short curing cycle, and mechanized application facilitate construction progress. Non-corrosive to building materials such as metal and coated glass, and achieves excellent adhesion and sealing performance with most building materials without the need for a primer.

4.How to Use

To ensure good adhesion of the insulating glass sealant, the surface of the bonded material must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants. It is recommended to mix components A and B evenly before application. Users can also change the mixing ratio according to actual needs.

Precautions: Unused component B (black sealant) must be sealed on the same day to avoid poor curing. This product should not be used with inferior butyl sealant strips or butyl sealant to process insulating glass. Responsibility for any quality problems arising from such use will be borne by the user. Finished insulating glass should not be exposed to direct sunlight before installation to prevent air intake and cracking. Acidic glass sealant should not be used for fixing; if quality problems occur, the user will be responsible.

Q1: Odor Issues

Modified silicone and polyurethane have a slight odor, not strong. MS sealant has a slight alcoholic odor, almost no odor, which will fade over time.

Q2: How to Store Unused Sealant?

Mix only the amount needed. For unused white sealant, it is best to place a plastic bag over the opening of the container and then replace the lid for better sealing. For black sealant, simply tighten the lid.

Q3: Coverage Area per Bucket

It depends on the size of the spacer bar. Larger spacer bars require more sealant. A 16L bucket can generally cover approximately 40-50 square meters.

Q4: Causes of Fogging in IGUs

Gaps in the sealant or desiccant exposed to the outside air for too long.

Q5: Causes of Air Leakage in IGUs

First, check if the sealant is filled completely without gaps. Second, check if the glass has been used for too long and has become debonded or cracked. Finally, ensure the sealant is fully cured before filling with argon gas (generally after 24 hours). It is recommended to use bendable spacer bars for continuous bending when filling with argon gas.
