16L Two-Component Insulated Glass Silicone Sealant

Hand-applied two-component insulated glass silicone sealant is an adhesive used in the production of insulated glass, consisting of components A and B, which cure at room temperature after mixing. It provides excellent sealing and weather resistance, with moderate flow and penetration, making it easy for hand application. It ensures even application on the glass edges and is commonly used in the production of insulated glass for construction and other fields.

1. Application Method:
To ensure the best performance of the sealant, the glass and spacer components must be thoroughly cleaned, degreased, and kept dry before applying the sealant.

2. Operating Procedure:
When using, typically mix the components A and B in a ratio of A:B = (10-15):1 by weight. The application time should be greater than or equal to 15 minutes, and the surface drying time should be less than or equal to 2 hours, until uniformity and color consistency are achieved. Apply the sealant in one direction to avoid air from entering, which can reduce the sealant's performance.

This product is suitable for both mechanical mixing and injection. For first-time users of MS sealant injection machines, it is necessary to clean the injection gun. The cleaning method is as follows:

1. For fully automatic injection machines: inject 10KG of white sealant and 1KG of black sealant, then continue injecting for 0.5-1 hour.

2. For semi-automatic injection machines: inject 5KG of white sealant and 0.5KG of black sealant, then continue injecting for 0.5-1 hour.

3. Precautions:

1. Any unused Component B (black sealant) on the same day must be properly sealed to avoid improper curing.

2. Do not use this product with low-quality butyl sealant strips or butyl sealant for producing insulated glass. Any resulting quality issues are the responsibility of the user. Finished insulated glass should not be exposed to direct sunlight before installation to prevent air ingress and cracking.

3. Do not use acidic glass sealants for fixation.
